The Kings have removed the interim tag from coach Tyrone Corbin’s title, sources close to the team confirmed today.

Corbin has agreed to a contract to coach the Kings through the remainder of this season.

When the Kings fired Michael Malone on Dec. 14, Corbin, Malone’s lead assistant, was promoted to interim coach.

The Kings are 2-5 under Corbin. They were 11-13 under Malone.

The Kings, who lost to the Brooklyn Nets 107-99 on Monday, play the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. The road trip continues Thursday at Minnesota and Sunday at Detroit.
