Kings game plan vs. Denver Nuggets
KINGS (15-20)
VS. NUGGETS (16-20)
THE PARTICULARS
Where: Sleep Train Arena
Time: 7 p.m.
TV/radio: CSNCA, 1140
THREE KEYS
1. More defense: The Kings found their way on defense in Wednesday’s win over Oklahoma City. They must continue that effort and not allow themselves to revert to bad defensive habits.
2. Finding his groove: DeMarcus Cousins is shooting 35.2 percent in his past three games. As the Kings continue to adjust their new offense, they must figure out how to get the ball more to Cousins in the best positions to score.
3. Bench production: Denver reserve J.J. Hickson is averaging 13.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in his past two games. The Kings need to make sure Hickson – and the rest of Denver’s bench – doesn’t take control of the game.
