Player of the game: Russell Westbrook had a triple double – 20 points, 13 rebounds and 15 assists – to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder past the Kings 131-116 Monday night at Sleep Train Arena. The Kings allowed a season high in points and lost their third in a row.

Turning point: The Kings led 16-11, but the Thunder closed the first quarter with an 18-9 run and didn’t trail again.

X-factor:

Oklahoma City’s bench was outstanding. Enes Kanter made all 11 of his shots and scored 23 points. Dion Waiters had 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting.

Key injuries: The Kings’ Rudy Gay (strained right shoulder) and Seth Curry (sprained right foot) missed the game.
