Kings game plan at Cleveland Cavaliers
KINGS (16-28) AT
CAVALIERS (27-20)
THE PARTICULARS
Where: Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland
Time: 4:30 p.m.
TV/radio: CSNCA, 950, 1140
THREE KEYS
1. Three-point defense: The Kings have given up a season-high 17 three-pointers in back-to-back games. The defense can’t allow the Cavaliers to get comfortable from the perimeter.
2. Focus on the point: Kyrie Irving is coming off a career-high 55 points, including 11 threes in a win over Portland on Wednesday. With LeBron James (sprained right wrist) doubtful, Irving is the Cavs’ primary offensive threat.
3. Transition game: The Kings had only eight fast-break points in Wednesday’s loss at Toronto. They need to use their defense to generate easier scoring chances on the break.
