Philadelphia Eagles fans let their emotions fly in many ways following the teams NFC championship game victory.
In one celebration, women’s national soccer team midfielder Julie Johnston Ertz broke down in tears upon hearing the news that her husband, Zach Ertz, and the Philadelphia Eagles were heading to the Super Bowl.
Police say few arrests have been made amid the citywide celebrations, which also included a fan driving a dune buggy up the iconic “Rocky” steps.
The celebrations and arrests came as thousands of fans took to the streets following the Eagles' 38-7 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night. The Eagles advanced to their first Super Bowl since 2005, against the AFC champion New England Patriots.
