Video: Fells gets warm welcome from his children
New York Giants tight end Daniel Fells hasn’t played since Sept. 24 after contracting an aggressive MRSA infection.
According to The Associated Press, the eighth-year pro out of UC Davis has been released from a hospital after being treated for nearly three weeks.
Fells was diagnosed with the antibiotic-resistant bacteria that kills thousands each year just days before the Giants were to play the Bills in Buffalo on Oct. 4, the AP reported. He was placed on season-ending injured reserve.
