Everything Raiders coach Josh McDaniels said before opening game vs. Denver Broncos

The Las Vegas Raiders open the regular season on Sunday against the Denver Broncos, and coach Josh McDaniels spoke about the team on Wednesday.

Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels said that defensive end Chandler Jones is currently not at the team’s facility. He declined to comment.

“It’s a private matter,” McDaniels told reporters. “If there’s something to report on it, then we’ll do that. But as of right now, no, there’s nothing to talk about.”

Jones is apparently upset with the franchise, according to some since-deleted social media posts.

Jones is entering his second year of his three-year $51 million deal.
