Small-school receiver Ricky Collins is expected to make a pre-draft visit the 49ers next month, a league source said. Collins had 71 catches for 1,187 yards and 14 touchdowns at Texas A&M Commerce last season.
Collins, who measured 6-0, 198 pounds at his recent pro day is getting interest from several teams. He also has a visit scheduled with the Browns.
Earlier this week, The Baltimore Sun reported that Maryland receiver Stefon Diggs would visit San Francisco next month. Diggs, who ran the 40-yard dash last month in 4.46 seconds, had 62 catches for 792 yards last season but missed the final three games with a lacerated kidney.
