49ers reveal preseason opponents

The 49ers have announced their preseason opponents and the approximate date of the games. Their one-time annual meting with the Raiders was suspended following fan violence in 2011, and that suspension remains.

* vs. Cowboys, Aug. 20-24th

* at Broncos, Aug. 27th-30th

* vs. Chargers, Sept. 3rd or 4th

The regular-season schedule is expected to be announced later this month. The 49ers' opponents already are known:
