A year after they had a round of joint practices with the Ravens outside of Baltimore, the 49ers do the same with the Broncos prior to their Aug, 29 game in Denver.
Last year's session at Ravens training camp lasted three days and followed the teams' preseason game. According to 9News in Denver, this year's session will span the Wednesday and Thursday prior to the Saturday game, which is the third game on the 49ers’ exhibition schedule.
There are plenty of connections between the two squads. The teams' general managers, Trent Baalke and John Elway, have a good relationship. San Francisco defensive end Tony Jerod-Eddie grew up with Broncos pass rusher Von Miller and considers him a brother. Miller also is close with 49ers outside linebacker Aldon Smith.
The 49ers, of course, also considered then-free agent Peyton Manning in 2012. The quarterback ultimately chose the Broncos but the 49ers were among his top choices.

The 49ers and Broncos also don't play each other during the regular season, which was the case with the 49ers and Ravens last year.
