Want a seat? It’ll cost you. 49ers playoff ticket prices are the highest in NFL
If you’d like to catch the 49ers’ first playoff game at Levi’s Stadium, it’s going to cost you.
The opponent for San Francisco’s Divisional Round game won’t be determined until Sunday. But the secondary market for tickets is already red hot.
The average ticket price for the Jan. 11 contest costs $506, the highest in the NFL during the first two rounds, according to Ticketmaster, the league’s official ticketing partner.
Prices the last time San Francisco made the playoffs in 2013, though they didn’t get a home game, averaged $312 in the final season at Candlestick Park.
Here are the figures by home team, per Ticketmaster:
Wild Card round:
Texans: $246
Patriots: $288
Saints: $324
Eagles: $356
Divisional round:
Chiefs: $252
Packers: $314
Ravens: $463
49ers: $506
San Francisco will host the lowest remaining seed among the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks. Should they advance to the conference title game, they would play the winner of the higher remaining seed against the Green Bay Packers. That game would also be played at Levi’s Stadium.
The last time San Francisco hosted the conference championship game was after the 2011 season, when they lost to the eventual champion New York Giants 20-17.
