Watch as 49ers players react after loss to Rams, reflect on ‘roller coaster’ year

The San Francisco 49ers’ season came to an end Sunday with a 20-17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game.

“It’s a tough one,” quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo said.

Garoppolo’s game-ending interception could be his last thrown in a 49ers uniform with rookie quarterback Trey Lance expected to start next year.

Garoppolo finished 16-of-30 for 232 yards with two touchdowns and the interception.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan lamented “missed opportunities” during the game, including a few plays in the fourth quarter that he said he’ll be thinking about for awhile.

Watch highlights from the post game press conference above from Garoppolo, Shanahan and wide receiver Deebo Samuel.
