Snap count: Tank Carradine leads defense; Gabbert gets lion’s share on offense
Here’s the snap count from Sunday's 34-0 win for the Broncos at Levi’s Stadium. Denver ran 71 plays, the 49ers had 59.
San Francisco was in its nickel defense for a lot of the game, which is why Mike Purcell's snaps are low-ish and Jimmie Ward's, Tank Carradine's and Quinton Dial's are high. Carradine, who had 60 snaps against the Ravens, led all defenders with 57 on Sunday. He's played the equivalent of three games so far.
On offense, Blaine Gabbert played nearly twice as many snaps as his top challengers, Josh Johnson and McLeod Bethel-Thompson.
