SANTA CLARA -- Do Colin Kaepernick’s noise-canceling headphones also have the ability to erase fines?

The 49ers quarterback, who was part of an ad campaign for Beats by Dre headphones last year, wore a pair of pink headphones to his press conference after the 49ers beat the Chiefs. The color was in keeping with the league’s acknowledgment of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The problem is that the NFL’s headphone sponsor is Bose, not Beats by Dre, and Kaepernick was fined $10,000 for the infraction.

Will Beats by Dre pay the fine? "I'm going to let that be unanswered," Kaepernick said Thursday.
