Running back Reggie Bush, who was listed as doubtful on the 49ers’ injury report Friday, was downgraded Saturday to out because he will not travel with the team to Arizona.

Like last week, Bush will remain in Santa Clara to continue to rehabilitate the calf muscle he strained in Week 1 against the Minnesota Vikings. Bush did not practice last week. Instead he worked on a side field with the training staff.

As was the case last Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Carlos Hyde will start at running back Sunday against the Cardinals with rookies Mike Davis and Jarryd Hayne in reserve. Davis took all of the snaps at running back when Hyde left the Pittsburgh game in the third quarter after a blow to the head.

Hyde was cleared of a concussion and practiced in full last week.
