Wide receiver Quinton Patton, inactive for each of the 49ers’ 12 games this season, will be in uniform today. Receiver Brandon Lloyd, who was on this week’s injury report with a quadriceps strain, is inactive. Lloyd was a full practice participant this week.
Patton missed most of his rookie season last year with a foot injury. He finished 2013 with just three catches for 34 yards, but one of his catches -- for 29 yards against Arizona in the finale -- was a remarkable reception and helped lead to a 49ers’ win.
Meanwhile, tackle Anthony Davis, nose tackle Glenn Dorsey and tight end Vance McDonald were ruled out before the game. Cornerback Tramaine Brock and special teams ace Bubba Ventrone, neither of whom practiced last week, will join them on the sideline.
Dorsey, who is returning from surgery on his biceps tendon, did some sparring with strength coach Mark Uyeyama before the game. He said last week that he is improving, and it appears there’s a chance he could be ready for next week’s rematch with Seattle.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Martin will make his eighth start of the season at right tackle. He will be lined up against Raiders veteran Justin Tuck, who leads Oakland’s linemen in tackles and sacks.
McDonald’s absence means that Garrett Celek and rookie Asante Cleveland (Christian Brothers High) will be the backup tight ends behind starter Vernon Davis, who is having his worst season since entering the league in 2006.
Bruce Ellington is back in the lineup after missing the last three games with an ankle injury. He and Perrish Cox, who fumbled a punt against the Seahawks, have not been very effective. The 49ers rank 29th in punt returns this season in averaging 5.4 yards a return.
