The 49ers' largely cured the case of the butterfingers that plagued them in the first half of the season. But they still finished tied for the sixth-most drops in the league, according to statistics provided by Pro Football Focus.

Here are PFF's numbers. Something to keep in mind: While the Colts led the league in dropped passes, they also led the league with 661 pass attempts. The 49ers had the fourth fewest pass attempts (487), which means their pass-to-drop ratio (14.3 to 1) was worse than Indianapolis' (16.5 to 1). Kansas City had the worst ratio (13.3 to 1).
