Perez’s 4 RBIs lead River Cats over Reno 6-5

Juan Perez collected three hits, including two doubles, and had four RBIs as the River Cats topped the host Reno Aces 6-5 on Tuesday night.

Perez had a three-run double in the first inning. The Cats (15-11) smacked 13 hits, with Ryan Lollis, Adam Duvall and John Bowker adding two hits apiece.

Robert Coello earned his fourth win of the season, and Hunter Strickland recorded his third save. Coello went six innings, giving up four runs and eight hits. He struck out two and walked three.

Reno fell to 9-17, and starter Caleb Clay (2-1) took the loss. Clay went five innings and gave up five runs and eight hits.

Mike Freeman led the Aces with four hits, all singles, and Garrett Weber had three hits, including a triple.
