River Cats suffer fourth loss in row

Greg Garcia hit a tiebreaking single in the seventh inning as the Memphis Redbirds handed the River Cats their fourth straight loss, 6-4 at Raley Field.

With the score tied 4-4 in the seventh, Memphis scored twice on Garcia’s two-out single to right field. He was credited with one RBI, and another run scored on Juan Perez’s fielding error in right.

Sacramento had the bases loaded with two outs in the ninth, but Trevor Brown grounded out to second base.
