Clayton Blackburn helps River Cats top Oklahoma City
Clayton Blackburn pitched seven strong innings as the visiting River Cats held off the Oklahoma City Dodgers 5-4 on Thursday night.
Blackburn allowed two runs and eight hits to improve to 2-3.
Casey McGehee, Travis Ishikawa, Adam Duvall and Carlos Triunfel each had two hits✔ for Sacramento.
The River Cats led 5-2 after seven innings, but Buck Britton hit a two-run double in the eighth.
Oklahoma City had the tying run on second base with one out in the ninth against reliever Erik Cordier, but he ended the threat.
