River Cats get routed by El Paso
The El Paso Chihuahuas rode a 17-hit attack to a 15-2 win over the River Cats on Wednesday afternoon at Raley Field.
El Paso scored eight runs in the fifth, which included six hits and four walks.
The Chihuahuas’ Alex Dickerson went 5 for 5 with three RBIs.
Chris Stratton took the loss, allowing eight hits and six runs in 41/3 innings.
Giants outfielder Nori Aoki, in the second game of a rehabilitation assignment for a broken ankle, went 0 for 3 for the River Cats.
