Sacramento River Cats

Cats rout Albuquerque twice

After having Sunday’s game washed out by rain, the River Cats enjoyed one of their most impressive days of the season, crushing the host Albuquerque Isotopes in both games of a doubleheader, 10-0 and 10-1, on Monday.

In the opener, Sacramento’s Ty Blach (9-8, 4.00) pitched a seven-inning compete game. Adam Duvall went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double and four RBIs.

In the nightcap, Duvall hammered a three-run homer in the first inning. Right-hander Chris Stratton (1-3, 3.02) went the distance, allowing one run on three hits, to chalk up his first Triple-A win.
