Clayton Blackburn leads River Cats over Las Vegas

Clayton Blackburn pitched seven shutout innings to lead the River Cats to a 4-2 win over visiting Las Vegas on Wednesday night.

Blackburn (6-3) allowed five hits and struck out five. He also hit a solo homer in the third inning.

Adam Duvall homered in the second inning to give Sacramento a 1-0 lead. Duvall has a Pacific Coast League-leading 26 homers.

Kelby Tomlinson and Ryan Lollis each drove in a run in the seventh inning to give the River Cats a 4-0 lead.
