Cats beat Round Rock in 13th for sixth straight win

Trevor Brown hit a two-out RBI single in the 13th inning as the River Cats defeated the Round Rock Express 3-2 Saturday night at Raley Field for their sixth straight victory.

With one out in the 13th, Darren Ford singled and stole second base. After Joaquin Arias grounded out, Brown lined a single to right field to score Ford.

Brett Bochy pitched one scoreless inning to improve to 4-0.

The River Cats’ Andrew Susac (Jesuit High School) went 0 for 4 with two strikeouts in a rehabilitation assignment.
