River Cats lack big hits in 5-1 loss to Omaha

The River Cats had eight hits but went 0 for 6 with runners in scoring position Wednesday night, losing 5-1 to host Omaha.

The Storm Chasers scored four runs in the seventh inning to open a 5-0 lead.

Sacramento scored its only run in the eighth inning after Angel Pagan, on a rehab stint from the Giants, led off with a single, advanced to third on Ryan Lollis’ double and scored on Jarrett Parker’s ground out.

Lollis and Nick Noonan each had two hits for the River Cats.
