River Cats’ home winning streak ends with loss to Reno Aces

The River Cats had their 12-game home winning streak snapped with a 5-2 loss to the Reno Aces on Tuesday night at Raley Field.

River Cats starter Nik Turley gave up all five Aces runs, which came on Cody Ransom’s two-run homer in the fourth and Jamie Romak’s three-run homer in the fifth.

Sacramento had five hits, scoring on solo homers by Brandon Hicks in the seventh and Jarrett Parker in the ninth.
