Republic FC is best in the West

Republic FC finished the USL regular season atop the Western Conference standings.

Sacramento beat Tulsa Roughnecks FC 4-0 in Tulsa, Okla., on Saturday, and won the top spot in the Western Conference when Orange County Blues FC beat Colorado Springs 4-0.

Republic FC finished 14-6-10 with 52 points. Rio Grande Valley (14-7-9) finished the season in second place with 51 points. Colorado Springs was third at 14-9-7 and 49 points. A victory would have given Colorado Springs the top spot in the conference based on the tiebreaker (most wins).

Republic FC will host Orange County in the playoffs on Saturday.
