Stoppage-time strike helps Republic FC salvage draw with Sounders FC 2
Tyler Blackwood scored in the 93rd minute to give Republic FC a 2-2 USL draw with host Seattle Sounders FC 2, the team reported.

Seattle took a 2-1 lead in the 86th minute when David Olsen headed in a cross past onrushing goaltender Dominik Jakubek. Four minutes later, with the ball getting knocked around in the box, Republic FC’s Agustin Cazarez passed to Blackwood, who converted an open look at the goal.
Trevin Caesar scored Republic FC’s other goal in the 59th minute.
Both teams are 4-5-2 for 14 standings points, but Sacramento has the edge on Seattle on goal differential (0 for Republic FC, minus-8 for Sounders FC 2).
