Republic FC opens USL season at Seattle on March 25
Republic FC will open the USL season at the Seattle Sounders FC 2 on March 25 and play its first home league match on April 2 against Arizona United SC at Bonney Field.
The 2014 USL champions will play 30 league matches, 15 at home and 15 on the road. Thirteen of the home league matches will be on Saturdays, with the other two on Wednesdays.
Republic FC will play the other 14 teams in the expanded Western Conference at least once. It will play the rival LA Galaxy II and the Orange County Blues FC four times each.
Republic FC will play an away match against the Real Monarchs SLC on June 11 in Reno at the Aces Ballpark because the field at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah, is being replaced. Reno will have a USL team in 2017.
Sacramento will play its last regular-season home match against LA Galaxy II on Sept. 17. Its last regular-season match will be Sept. 24 at the Tulsa Roughnecks FC.
