Break out the vodka and hot dogs: Comedian Betty White celebrates 96th birthday
Happy birthday, Betty White.
The longtime comedian and actress, who turned 96 on Wednesday, attributes her advanced age to “vodka and hot dogs, ‘probably in that order,’ ” she told Parade magazine.
White has won six Emmy Awards and is most noted for her work in “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “The Golden Girls.”
Several celebrities and fans have sent their best wishes to White, who was born Jan. 17, 1922, in Oak Park, Ill., including Ryan Reynolds, who starred with her in the 2009 movie “The Proposal.”
