Why Sears and Kmart have ‘the whole store on sale’ right now
Forget waiting until Black Friday. A national retailer is offering big deals now.
Customers can receive 10 to 50 percent off on everything at Sears stores, and 10 to 40 percent off at Kmart locations, according to a report Wednesday by CNBC.
Sales will run through Nov. 25, two days after Thanksgiving and a day after Black Friday.
Kelly Cook, chief marketing officer of Sears and Kmart, told CNBC the retailer will have “the whole store on sale.”
The news comes days after Sears revived its Wish Book catalog, which was offered from 1933 to 2011.
There are several Sears locations in the Sacramento area, including stores on Arden Way, Florin Road, Sunrise Mall and Galleria Boulevard, along with multiple outlets. While Sacramento no longer has a Kmart, the store’s website lists five locations in the region: Auburn, Grass Valley, Jackson, Placerville and Stockton.
