Looking for an aerial fireworks display Saturday? Below is a roundup of shows in the Sacramento region:

Carmichael

After the morning parade, Carmichael will wrap up its celebrations with a festival at La Sierra Community Center. The event, which starts at 7 p.m., will feature food, music, face painting and other activities. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

Elk Grove

Elk Grove Regional Park’s afternoon of festivities culminate with a 9:30 p.m. fireworks display. Earlier in the day, bicyclists and strollers can take part in the pedal parade at 5:30 p.m. and enjoy live entertainment beginning at 6 p.m.

Galt

A busy day of parades, softball and horseshoe tournaments will end with a 9:30 p.m. fireworks show at the Galt Market Grounds.

Rancho Cordova

The city’s jam-packed weekend of family-friendly events features a Fireworks Spectacular at 9:45 p.m. at Hagan Community Park.

Sacramento

Cal Expo boasts what it calls the area’s largest-scale pyrotechnics show. Doors open to the Miller Lite Racetrack Grandstand at 5 p.m., but the 9:30 p.m. show can also be seen from nearby areas.

Roseville

The city is hosting a 5K run/walk and a parade during the day, and carnival games from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Royer Park. Gates open at 7 p.m. at the Placer County Fairgrounds for the evening’s fireworks show, which will start about 9:30 p.m.

Davis

The celebration begins at 5 p.m. at Community Park, boasting Sacramento-area bands, a reading by Davis poet laureate Andy Jones and fireworks at 9:35 p.m.

West Sacramento

Raley Field’s Fourth on the Field celebration begins at 6 p.m. and includes food trucks, music and games on the field. The fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. can also be viewed from Old Sacramento.

South Lake Tahoe

Fireworks are shot from a barge over Lake Tahoe in this hyped show at 9:45 p.m. Viewers can see them from various beaches along the southern shore or from cruise boats on the water.

Vacaville

Dance and music group Hip Service will perform hits from the past five decades at 6:30 p.m. at the Creekwalk in Andrew Park, followed by fireworks.
