On Monday morning a United Airlines flight from Sacramento, California, landed at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. The Boeing 737 landed, taxied for about five minutes, and then made a complete stop at the gate.
Then, one of the United Airlines flight attendants opened the front door, extended the emergency slide, tossed her purse out, slid off the plane, and walked way.

These actions caused quite a scare for those passengers and other employees on the flight. United Airlines released a statement announcing the employee’s termination, which said “We hold all of our employees to the highest standard. The unsafe behavior is unacceptable and does not represent the more than 20,000 flight attendants who ensure the safety of our customers.”
