Bicyclist killed in crash along Power Inn Road
A bicyclist was struck and killed early Monday morning on Power Inn Road.
The crash occurred at about 1 a.m. on Power Inn Road at Alpine Avenue. Northbound Power Inn Road was temporarily closed for a Sacramento police investigation and removal of the bicyclist’s body by the coroner before re-opening around 6:45 a.m.
Police said that the driver of the vehicle was traveling northbound on Power Inn Road when she struck the cyclist. The driver stopped at the scene of the crash.
