Smoky vehicle fire extinguished in midtown Sacramento

A vehicle fire that produced much smoke Wednesday morning in midtown Sacramento was extinguished next to the MARRS building at 20th and K streets, the Sacramento Fire Department reports.

The fire slightly damaged the the exterior of the building, but didn’t spread inside. There were no injuries reported, the department said in a tweet.
