Traffic is heavily congested Friday afternoon along westbound Interstate 80 and southbound Highway 65 in Roseville after a pickup truck fire near the Douglas Boulevard on ramp blocked some lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A white truck initially reported as a Dodge Ram was seen on the right hand side of the freeway around 1:08 p.m., according to the CHP incident logs. The two right lanes have been shut down as they attempt to extinguish the fire and clear the truck.

Lanes reopened to traffic at 1:46 p.m., but build up from the incident was seen on traffic sensors along westbound I-80 and the southbound lanes of Highway 65.

No injuries have been reported and it appears the occupants are out of the truck, the CHP logs said.
