Man booked for fatal shooting in Antelope
A man in his late 30s died after being shot at a home in Antelope, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies were called to the residence in the 7900 block of Blackfoot Way shortly before 1 a.m. Thursday after being told that a man was shot inside the home. The man was transported to the hospital where he died.
A preliminary investigation led to the detaining of Sean Gregory Sandlin, 25, of Citrus Heights, an acquaintance of a person at the home. Sandlin was eventually arrested and booked into Sacramento County Jail on suspicion of homicide.
The name of the shooting victim has not been released.
