Plane overshoots runway at Lodi airport, ends up near Highway 99

A small plane broke through a fence, skidded across a frontage road and stopped nose down just short of Highway 99 on Monday night, according to news reports.

Two people were on board but escaped injury, CBS Sacramento reported.
