7-year-old missing from Elk Grove is found

A 7-year-old boy missing Monday afternoon from his Elk Grove foster home has been found, police say.

Elk Grove police said Jayden Yadao was last seen around 3 p.m. and left his foster parents’ home in the 8500 block of Mcphetridge Drive. He was believed to have left the home because he wanted to see a relative living in Sacramento.

Shortly after 6 p.m., Elk Grove Police spokesman issued a statement saying the Jayden has been found at a home in Sacramento and would be taken to Sacramento’s children’s receiving home.
