Fire damages 20 vehicles at Douglas Road auto yard

About 20 cars were damaged in a fire Monday morning at a used auto yard.

Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District crews responded to the 11400 block of Douglas Road at around 3:45 a.m. Monday. The fire was contained the yard.

Nothing indicates that the fire was set, said Capt. Michelle Eidam. The cause of the fire is undetermined.

The damage estimate is $20,000.
