A pickup truck was struck Friday morning by a light rail train travelling near Bradshaw Road, and has caused some delays for commuters.
A Sacramento Regional Transit spokeswoman said the accident happened at approximately 7:45 a.m. It appeared that the truck ran a red light in front of the train and was struck.
There were no injuries in the incident, the spokeswoman said. Regional Transit bused train commuters from the Mather Field/Mills station to the Watt/Manlove station, according to RT’s Twitter account.
The Regional Transit spokeswoman said the train was running again at about 8:30 a.m., but said that travelers should expect delays as service resumes again.
