Body found near I Street Bridge in West Sacramento

Two jet skiers discovered a body Saturday night in the Sacramento River near the I Street Bridge, West Sacramento Police reports.

The body, an adult white male, was found at 7:45 p.m., said Sgt. Roger Kinney, West Sacramento police spokesman. West Sacramento Fire Department officials reported that the body showed no obvious signs of trauma, Kinney said.
