Car fire billows smoke at Interstate 80 rest area

The California Highway Patrol alerts westbound Interstate 80 motorists to expect slow going Wednesday morning after a care caught fire at the Donner Summit Rest Area.

The car’s occupants came out of the rest area to find the vehicle burning, according to the CHP. No one was hurt.
