Last-minute gift suggestions:

Fewer NBA timeouts: Enough already. And no more advancing the ball some two-thirds of the court simply by calling a timeout.

A World Series for the Cubs: Their fans have earned it. And then some.

Scaled-back Olympics: Summer, winter, it doesn’t matter. They generally financially strap host countries. Besides, will anyone miss synchronized diving? Ice dancers should learn to figure skate or play hockey.

A safe ballpark experience: Maybe more netting is the answer? Or are people unwisely paying less attention to games than their smartphones?

The NFL comes to its senses: It’s a catch or it’s not. Stop over-thinking this. You’re ruining your game.
