Player of the game: DeMarcus Cousins had game highs of 28 points and nine rebounds, but the Kings blew an early 19-point lead and lost to the Los Angeles Lakers 101-91 on Thursday night at Golden 1 Center. The Kings had their winning streak snapped at two games and failed to capitalize on 21 Lakers turnovers.
Turning point: With the score tied 82-82 and 5:34 remaining, the Lakers went on a 10-0 run capped by Nick Young’s 3-pointer and never trailed again.
