Friday’s Kings game at the Phoenix Suns
THE PARTICULARS
▪ Where: US Airways Center, Phoenix
▪ Time: 6 p.m.
▪ TV/radio: CSNCA, 1140
THREE KEYS
▪ 1. Perimeter defense: The Suns use three attacking guards in Goran Dragic, Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas. The Kings might have to adjust their lineup and use Ray McCallum more to deal with the multiple point-guard looks.
▪ 2.Post domination: The Kings should find success going to DeMarcus Cousins in the post. Carl Landry should be effective in the post off the bench, too. Going inside will combat Phoenix’s speed.
▪ 3. Bench production: Thomas is one of the top scoring reserves in the NBA. The Kings will rely on Landry, Omri Casspi and Ramon Sessions to provide an offensive spark.
