The 49ers are at the 90-man roster limit today after parting ways with two players -- offensive lineman Chris Martin and receiver Darius Davis -- and signing three.

The players added are offensive lineman Ben Gottschalk, receiver Mario Hull and kicker Corey Acosta. Earlier in the week, the team signed offensive tackle Sean Hooey.

* Gottschalk, 23, (6-5, 293) originally signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent on May 19, 2014. He was waived on August 27, 2014 and was later signed to the team’s practice squad on September 1, 2014, before being waived on September 9, 2014. He was signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on April 8, 2015, and was later waived by the team on May 28.

* Hull, 23, (6-1, 200) went undrafted out of Rice University. In three seasons with the Owls, he registered 61 receptions for 901 yards and eight touchdowns. In 2014, Hull set career highs in receptions (32), receiving yards (621) and touchdowns (eight).

* Acosta, 23, (6-0, 190) in an undrafted rookie from the University of Southern Mississippi. He finished his collegiate career with 43 field goals made and 201 points. As a senior in 2014, he set career highs in field goals made (19) and total points scored (78).
