Four arrested in connection with assault following 49ers game
Police announced Friday they had arrested three men and a 17-year-old girl in connection to a parking lot fight following Monday’s 49ers game during which a Vikings fan was kicked and punched after falling to the ground. The incident was caught on video.
The 35-year-old victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Santa Clara police said. The 18-year-old security officer who tried to break up the fight also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The four suspects arrested on suspicion of felony assault:
▪ Felix Chavira, 32, of Hollister (wearing a 49ers No. 28 jersey in the video).
▪ Juan Arias, 33, of Hollister (wearing a white jacket).
▪ Eric Martinez, 30, of San Jose (wearing a 49ers No. 80 jersey).
▪ The 17-year-old girl whom police did not name because she is a juvenile.
One of the alleged assailants is a 49ers season-ticket holder, and the team announced it has revoked his tickets and personal seat license.
“We are steadfast in our commitment to fostering a safe and enjoyable environment at Levi’s Stadium for all visitors and remind fans that behavior like this will not be tolerated,” the team said in a statement.

49ers in a statement
Last year, two men were hospitalized after a vicious assault in a Levi’s Stadium restroom before an Oct. 5 game against the Chiefs. That assault, which left one of the victims with a brain injury, also was captured on video.
