Carlos Rivero hit a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning to give the host Tacoma Rainiers a 6-5 victory over the River Cats on Saturday night.
Tacoma loaded the bases in the 10th with no outs on a single, an error and a walk off Logan Bawcom (1-1). After Leon Landry struck out, Rivero drove in Stefen Romero with a fly ball to center field.
Sacramento’s Jarrett Parker hit a two-run homer in the sixth to cut Tacoma’s lead to 5-4, and Kevin Frandsen tied the score with an RBI double in the eighth.
