New 7-Eleven convenience store opens in the Sacramento area. Here’s where

A new 7-Eleven convenience store recently opened in south Sacramento County.

The market, which had a soft opening Aug. 25, is connected to a Chevron gas station at 8344 Power Inn Road in Elk Grove.

Employee Arsh Preetkaur said the store has been well-received by visitors and the nearby community,

“The last two weeks have been very good,” Preetkaur said. “All the people have been waiting for it for a long time, so now they are happy because we are here.”

7-Eleven, based in Irving, Texas, is known for its go-to convenience options including food, snacks, hot and cold beverages and all-day operating hours.

The chain operates 13,000 stores in the United States and Canada, according to the company website.

The newest Sacramento-area store is located off of Orchard Loop Lane near Premier Car Wash and Texas Roadhouse.

“It’s a good area, it’s a busy area,” Preetkaur said. “It’s a good thing that we are open with Chevron. People like their gas and also they like 7-Eleven.”

The new location is open 24 hours a day.
